Margit Schmitt spent her early years in the serene surroundings of Ojai, California, before moving to the Midwest in 1996, where she has since made her home. In 2010, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the College of Visual Arts in St. Paul.

 

Margit has showcased her work in a variety of galleries throughout Minnesota, and established herself within the interior designer community with one of a kind commissions. Her journey reflects a deep passion for art and a commitment to her craft.

Her most creative and greatest accomplishment is raising her three children.
